Man With Knife Arrested While Chasing Another Man: Police
Police say the Fremont man admitted trying to stab the other man.

FREMONT, CA — Fremont Police have arrested a man who tried to stab another man in Fremont on Tuesday, police say.
It happened just before 4 p.m. in the area of High Street and Grimmer Boulevard.
A police officer was driving when he spotted a man armed with a knife and chasing another man, police say. They arrested 50-year-old John Lindberg of Fremont, who police say admitted that he planned to stab the 25-year-old man because of a domestic dispute.

Lindberg was booked into the Santa Rita Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
