Man Shot To Death In Fremont

FREMONT, CA — A man was shot to death in Fremont Wednesday evening, according to the Fremont Police Department. The man's identity has not been released, and no arrests have been announced.

This is Fremont’s fourth homicide of 2023.

The Fremont Police Dispatch Center received a call at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday about a person down in the 3100 block of Walnut Avenue.

Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Detectives found a shell casing within the immediate area and are actively investigating this case as a homicide.
