Man Shot During Fremont Drug Deal: Police

Police say the victim did not cooperate with investigators.

FREMONT, CA — Fremont police are investigating a shooting Friday evening that injured a male victim.

At 6:57 p.m., Fremont police received a 911 call reporting that someone had fired a gun from a vehicle into a house in the area of Sunstar Common and Northwind Terrace, police said.

Officers arrived to investigate and located a male victim suffering from a single gunshot wound that was not life threatening. He was uncooperative with the investigation, police said.

Police said the shooting appeared to occur during a drug deal.
