Man Shot In Fremont Parking Lot Thursday

FREMONT — A man was taken to a trauma center following a shooting in Fremont Thursday afternoon, police said.

Officers responded at 3:40 p.m. to the parking lot of the Cloverleaf Family Bowl after someone called to report that shots were fired.

The Cloverleaf Family Bowl, a bowling alley, is located at 40645 Fremont Blvd. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound, which was not life-threatening.

Police are investigating the shooting and are asking anyone with information about it to call the Police Department at (510) 790-6800, extension 3.
