Woman, Baby Taken To Hospital Following Fremont Shooting
The shooting happened in a home on Mission Boulevard. No arrests have been announced.
FREMONT, CA — A woman and baby were rushed to a hospital for treatment following a shooting inside a home in the 37500 block of Mission Boulevard in Fremont Tuesday afternoon. The woman was grazed by a bullet to her lower body, police report. The baby was dropped during the shooting and was taken to the hospital to be checked as a precautionary measure.
Police say the shooting happened at 3:30 p.m. Dispatchers received a 911 call from someone who said "that multiple suspects came to their house and fired rounds inside the home," police said via Nixle. "The suspects then fled, possibly in a vehicle."
Police launched an intense manhunt for the suspects. No arrests have been announced, and no description of the suspects or a possible vehicle have been released to the public.
