Marijuana Grow House Catches Fire In Fremont

No one was living at the house at the time it caught fire.

FREMONT, CA — A house that was being used to grow marijuana caught fire in Fremont earlier this month, according to a Fremont Police report.

The home is on Sea Mist Terrace, just a few blocks from Forest Park Elementary School.

The fire was reported on Sunday, Sept. 15. Firefighters alerted the police department. More than 1000 marijuana plants were subsequently collected. No was was living in the home, according to police.

No arrests have been announced.
