What is your educational background?

What is your professional background?
My private sector cosmetology career preceded my public service as a Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) classified school site administrative assistant, then as a management team member for FUSD Human Resources, followed by my current role as the Field Director for Alameda County Supervisor D1.
Have you ever held public office, whether appointive or elective?
Yes. Upon the vacancy of the Council seat D3, I was appointed to the Fremont City Council on September 10, 2024
What are the top three issues facing Fremont's District 4 right now?
1. Homelessness resource
2. Small Business support
3. Traffic congestion relief.
What is one specific action you would prioritize during your first year as a council member?
Continuing my service would include strengthening collaboration with neighboring cities and regional partners to advance coordinated, effective solutions to homelessness and make continued and meaningful progress across our communities.
Why do you feel you're a better candidate than your opponent?
I have been serving my community and the City of Fremont more than 25 years in capacities of school PTA volunteer roles, former City Senior Citizens Commissioner, nonprofit leadership roles, and former Fremont Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs board member.
