Missing Fremont Woman Found In Newark

NEWARK, CA — An elderly woman who has been missing for two days has been found, Fremont Police report. Doris Mederios was located by Newark Police.

The 79-year-old Mederios needs oxygen and had not been feeling well. She spoke with family members and told them that she was going to an urgent care facility in Fremont on Monday, but she never made it.

Police say that Mederios spent the last two days in her car, which may have gotten stuck.

While they say that she is okay, Mederios is being taken to a local hospital for medical care.
