Mission San Jose High School Garners Stellar Ranking From US News & World Report

The highly regarded rankings praised the high school on several fronts.

US News & World Report has released its highly anticipated annual ranking of Best High Schools in the US with Mission San Jose High School in Fremont garnering an impressive list of accolades.

The school is ranked No. 11 in the nation for magnet schools and No. 24 in the nation for STEM schools. Its overall national ranking is No. 56, earning the school a Gold Award.

In the overall state ranking, Mission San Jose High School is No. 11 in California.

The article notes, “Mission San Jose High School is ranked 11th within California. Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement course work and exams. The AP participation rate at Mission San Jose High School is 90 percent. The student body makeup is 51 percent male and 49 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 91 percent.”
