Motorcyclist Dies In Fremont Crash: Police

FREMONT, CA — Police say they're investigating a crash in Fremont that left a motorcyclist dead Wednesday afternoon.

The motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Hastings Street around 1:38 p.m. when they collided with a passenger vehicle turning left from Keats Street onto southbound Hastings Street, according to the Fremont Police Department.

Officers responded to the scene where they found an unresponsive motorcyclist and immediately began life-saving efforts, police said.

The motorcyclist was taken to a local trauma center, where they died from their injuries, police said. Their identity was not immediately revealed.

Meanwhile, the driver of the passenger vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, police said.

This is the 10th traffic death in Fremont this year, up three from the total number in 2025.
