New Photography Group Started In Fremont

Do you love snapping photos? Get together with other people who share your interest.

FREMONT, CA — Beautiful photographs are often submitted to Fremont Patch by residents who snap lovely scenery on everything from smart phones to sophisticated cameras. In fact, there are so many photography enthusiasts here that a Meetup group recently started by Lorraine Sarich already has more than 50 members.

Sarich tells Patch, "As a group, we support each other in reaching our goals and come up with solutions to increase our knowledge. We help each other by offering ideas, sharing skills, and critiquing each other's work."

The group is called Photography Friends of Fremont and they held their first photowalk at Lake Elizabeth on Saturday, Oct. 26 during the golden hour before sunset.

Sarich sent two photos to Patch from the photowalk. She writes, "We will be doing more walks around Fremont and I will be encouraging them to submit images to you as well."

In fact, another photowalk is planned for this month. Here's the info if you are interested in joining the Meetup.
