FREMONT, CA — Fremont resident Peace Z took a new approach to photo of the day, sending in a very pleasant drawing of the city's Lake Elizabeth.

"Like many Fremont residents, I frequently enjoy the 2-mile loop around Lake Elizabeth," Peace told Patch. "Drawing this map gave me even more appreciation for the trees and trails that form this oasis of nature right in the middle of our city."

The drawing reminds me of a map from a video game, such as "Red Dead Redemption." It's such a unique way to represent the lake and its surrounding scenery. Thank you for sharing your drawing with Patch readers, Peace!
