FREMONT, CA — The westbound state Highway 84 connector to southbound Interstate Highway 680 in Sunol will be closed overnight from Monday to Saturday and from Aug. 15-19 for two widening projects, Caltrans said.
Each night the connector will close at 10 p.m. and reopen at 3 a.m. the next morning.
The closure from Monday to Saturday will allow for the widening of the Calaveras Bridge, and the Aug. 15-19 closures will accommodate the improvement of on- and off-ramps and the widening of southbound Highway 680 on Scotts Corner.
