Niles Town Plaza Concert Sept 7th 3-6pm w/ Felsen (Subversive West Oakland Indie Rockers) & Rocktapus - (Classic Rock, New Country).

The historic Niles district of Fremont hosts another Free Sunday Town Plaza concert on Sept 7th, 3-6pm. This one features a co-bill with Felsen (subversive West Oakland indie-rockers) and Rocktapus (originals, classic rock, and new country covers). Other concerts happen Aug 17th, Aug 24th, and Sept 21st.

The concerts are free to the public, just bring a lawn chair and grab any open seating on the plaza lawn. There is also ample bench seating facing the amphitheater with great views of the stage, the Niles hills, and the historic old town. This is a family friendly event and also includes a Kids Zone. The five-block Niles downtown is Mayberry with a twist - artisan shops, antique stores, restaurants, & pubs. The town also boasts Sunday steam train rides through the Niles Canyon on the original track bed of the Transcontinental Railroad, and an active silent film theater built by the Edison Company during Niles’ hey day as a silent film mecca. The plaza is located at 37592 Niles Blvd Fremont, CA 94536.
