Ohlone College Ribbon Cutting Friday
The college will officially open its new Academic Core Complex consisting of an Arts Building, Science Center, and Learning Commons/Library.
FREMONT, CA — Ohlone College will hold a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting event at 11 a.m. Friday to officially open the Frank DiMino Academic Core Complex. The complex consists of an Arts Building, Science Center, and Learning Commons/Library.
The complex was paid for through Measure G Bond funds, and donations from Frank DiMino, Fremont Bank, the CIO Scholarship Fund, Judy Chong, and Victoria & James Maroulis.
The spring semester begins Monday and the classrooms, offices, and other spaces will be put to immediate use.

While Friday's event is by invitation only, public tours are in the works so all local residents can admire how their tax dollars were spent.
