One Person Killed In Fremont Crash

The crash happened late Tuesday night and closed streets for several hours.

FREMONT, CA — One person died in a traffic collision in Fremont on Tuesday night, police said.

The collision occurred at about 9:50 p.m. at Peralta Boulevard and Camden Street, according to Fremont police spokesperson Amy Gee.

The collision involved a car and either a pedestrian or bicyclist, but police did not provide further details.

The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with Fremont police officers.

Streets in the area were closed following the collision and reopened as of about 3:45 a.m. Wednesday, Gee said.

Police have not yet determined the cause of the collision.
