Evacuations Lifted Following Overturned Tanker On I-680
Northbound lanes were closed for most of Friday because of a fuel spill and cleanup.

FREMONT, CA — All northbound lanes of Interstate 680 north of South Mission Boulevard were closed for most of Friday due to an overturned truck leaking gasoline onto the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The spill also prompted some evacuations, which have since been lifted.
The road closure happened on a busy travel day as people traveled for the Christmas holiday.
