Pedestrian Hit-And-Run: Police Need Witnesses

A woman was found injured on the side of the road in Fremont Monday morning.

FREMONT, CA — Fremont police are asking for the public's help after finding a woman with what appeared to be injuries suffered in a hit-and-run collision on Monday morning.

Police said the collision happened sometime between 7:35 a.m. and 7:42 a.m. in the area of Calaveras Avenue and Blacow Road. An officer noticed the woman sitting on the south curb of Calaveras Avenue.

According to police, the victim was suffering from injuries they believe were caused by a vehicle going east on Calaveras Avenue.
