Planet Fitness Opens In Fremont, Donates $1K To Boys & Girls Club

FREMONT, CA — Fitness clubs were one of the business casualties of the pandemic as health department orders forced them to close for months and then reopen with modifications.

Planet Fitness held a grand opening last week for its new Fremont club at 35630 Fremont Blvd. The company says that it has more members than any other fitness brand, allowing it to donate $1,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Silicon Valley as part of its Judgement Free Generation program.

In Fremont, new members can join for $1 down, then $10 per month or $0 down and $22.99 a month for a PF Black Card, with no commitment. The new Planet Fitness in Fremont offers the following features and amenities:

As the omicron COVID-19 variant continues to cause a surge in infections in Fremont and the Bay Area, Planet Fitness has enhanced safety and sanitization protocols including:

• A Crowd Meter on the Planet Fitness App that allows members to check club capacity in real-time before even leaving the house.
• Increased sanitization every 20 minutes to continually clean and sanitize high-touch areas, with cleaning stations available for member use.
