Police Investigate Fremont Threat

Police say the suspect wore a black hooded sweatshirt and black bandanna.

FREMONT, CA — The Fremont Police Department is investigating an incident involving a suspicious person that was reported on Tuesday at the Irvington Community Center.

On Tuesday at 2:50 p.m., officers responded to the center on a report a man told a young child at the playground the man had guns and wanted to injure someone.

Officers searched the area for the man but were not able to locate him.

Police described the man as Asian, 17 to 20 years old and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black bandanna. The man was also carrying a black flag.

No weapon was seen during the incident.
