Police Investigate Purse Snatching in Walmart Parking Lot
The suspect approached her from behind and grabbed her purse, police said.
Fremont police are investigating a purse snatching Monday that occurred in a Walmart parking lot. Officers responded at 11:46 a.m. to 44009 Osgood Road on a report of a robbery. The victim was walking to her vehicle when a suspect approached her from behind and grabbed her purse, police said.
The suspect was able to get the purse away from the victim and then fled in a silver vehicle. The suspect is described as a Hispanic man who is about 20 years old with a medium build and wore a blue beanie, a gray jacket and blue jeans.
