Police Investigate Robbery at 7-Eleven

Police said one of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded money.

Police in Fremont are investigating an armed robbery Monday at a 7-Eleven convenience store. Officers responded at 5 a.m. to the store in the 100 block of Washington Boulevard on a report of a robbery and learned two men had entered the store and confronted the clerk.

Police said one of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded money. The suspects took cash from a drawer and fled the store on foot.

The first suspect is described as a white man who is about 20 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall and wore a red and white plaid jacket and jeans. He was armed with a handgun. The second suspect is described as a white man in his 20s who is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and wore a gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
