Police Release Sketch Of 'Person Of Interest' In Sexual Assault At Fremont Hotel

FREMONT, CA — Police are asking for the public's help identifying a person of interest in connection with an assault at a hotel in Fremont earlier this month.

The Aug. 16 attack happened at a hotel in the 40000 block of Lakeview Boulevard, according to the Fremont Police Department. It's unclear what the man's suspected involvement is.

The Fremont Police Department released a composite sketch of him based on witness information on Thursday.

The man is 40 to 50 years old, tall with a thin build and medium complexion, police said. He has dark hair with some gray that is about shoulder-length and falls below his ears, police said.

"He has light brown or green eyes and may have a mole or bump on the bridge of his nose," police said. The person's race is unknown; however, he could possibly be Hispanic or of mixed race."

The man is only considered a person of interest at this time, and police are seeking him for questioning, police said.
