Police Resources Used For Homeless Calls
Fremont Police Officers are pulled away from other duties to handle calls about the city's homeless population.
FREMONT, CA — Fremont Police Officers responded to more than a dozen calls involving the homeless between Friday and Monday.
Residents called police with a variety of complaints including panhandling and trespassing. The calls pull officers away from other duties, such as patrolling areas prone to vehicle break-ins.

- 45000 block of Industrial Dr.
- Fremont Hub Courtyard
- 200 block of Old Canyon Rd.
- 7-11 Sundale Dr.
