Purse Thief Knocks Woman to Ground in Fremont Robbery
It happened at a parking lot in the middle of the day.

FREMONT, CA - A woman was assaulted and robbed Friday morning in a Fremont parking lot, according to police.
The robbery was reported around 11 a.m. in the 38700 block of Lexington Street.
A female victim was knocked to the ground by a suspect who stole her purse and fled in a black, four-door vehicle that may have been a Honda Accord, police said.

Investigators did not find any witnesses or surveillance video, but the suspect was described as a black man wearing a black hoodie and black pants, standing roughly 6 feet tall.
