Reduction to lanes on Paseo Padre
City is voting on April 19 to reduce lanes on Paseo Padre
The city of Fremont conducted a community survey on whether or not to reduce parts of Paseo Padre from four lanes (two in each direction) to two lanes (one in each direction). The results of the survey clearly showed that the community does not want this done.
Despite the survey results, city staff announced that they are recommending that the city council vote to move ahead with the lane reduction.
If you would like to voice an opinion on this, the city council will hear the recommendation at the regularly scheduled meeting on April 19. You can find information on the meeting here:
