Rep. Mike Honda to Hold Gun Safety Feedback Forum Thursday
Handa is Vice-Chair of the House Gun Violence Prevention Task Force .

Congressman Mike Honda will host a feedback forum on the causes and impact of gun violence in the district, California and the United States. An esteemed panel will discuss measures to counter gun deaths.
According to his offfice, "Rep. Honda is a leader in tackling the problem of gun violence in the United States. He was recently appointed Vice-Chair of the House Gun Violence Prevention Task Force and serves as Ranking Member of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice and Science where he has fought for commonsense gun safety measures. He has introduced several bills including those to overturn a ban on federal research into gun violence and expand criminal background checks for purchasers."
The forum will include:- Don Veith – SCC Brady Campaign
- Karen Pandula – parent of victim & gun violence prevention leader
- Carol Weiss – Sunnyvale Citizens for Sensible Gun Measures
- Lisa Freedman Shaffer – Safe Cities Coalition
- Catherine Stefani – Moms Demand Action for GunSense in America
The forum will be held at the Sunnyvale City Hall Council Chambers, 465 W. Olive Ave., Sunnyvale, It will be held Thursday, July 28, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
