Retro Swing Dancing Comes To Union City!
Rockabilly Style Jitterbug Dancing Workshop, Smooth Style Lindy Hop, On February 28, 2015 In Union City!

Rock N’ Swing Dance Workshop Part One!
A jitterbuggin’ 1950’s style swing dance workshop, for those who love both swing dancing AND rockabilly music, is coming to Union City!
This workshop will be the first in a series of 1950’s style dance workshops that will eventually lead to a regular weekend venue for traditional Rockabilly style swing dancing in the Tri-City area.
This workshop will focus on that style of swing dancing that was featured in 1950’s teen-rock musicals such as “Don’t Knock The Rock!”, “Shake, Rattle, and Rock!”, and “The Girl Can’t Help It.”
Originally a Big Band era dance style, “Smooth Style Lindy,” as it’s technically called, was adapted during the Rock n’ Roll era for use in film....to spectacular results!
Bay Area dancer and performer Mike Quebec will put his 20 years of teaching experience at your service! (Check out his dance videos on You Tube at channel Esperanza Quebec!)
If you want to look flashy and fancy while dancing to fun, retro rockin’ tunes, then this is the worshop for you!
