Man, Woman Allegedly Rob Woman of Her Gold Jewelry
Police say the suspects fled the area in a red van.

Police in Fremont are investigating a Monday robbery in which a woman had her jewelry stolen. At around 4 p.m., a 53-year-old woman was walking on Alder Avenue at Polvorosa Court when an unknown man and woman walked up to her and asked to see her gold jewelry, police said.
The victim, fearing for her safety and scared, gave up the jewelry, and the suspects fled the area in a red van, police said. The victim was not injured during the encounter.
The first suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his 30s with braces on his teach and wearing a pair of white-framed prescription glasses. The second suspect was described as a Hispanic woman about 40 years old, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds and with brown hair worn in a ponytail.
