Join SAVE for their October 24th Open Doors Luncheon

Who says there's no such thing as a free lunch? Get yours at SAVE's October 24th Open Doors event. Bonus: it comes with a side of empowerment, inspiration, and knowledge!

SAVE's (Safe Alternatives to Violent Environments) Open Doors is a free community education and outreach event designed to open your eyes to the issue of domestic violence and the ways SAVE helps victims to safety. This October's Open Doors will be even more engaging because it's National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. In addition to SAVE staff sharing information about their work, a SAVE client will share her survival story and we'll hold a Q&A session. You'll also meet SAVE's Interim Director, Susan Schiller, former CFO and Business Manager at the Fremont Police Department. The highlight of Open Doors will be an art display created by SAVE clients called "Open Your Eyes to Survivors Around You." Their work will explore their experiences, hopes, and healing.

Open Doors will take place at Union City's Nakamura Clinic Conference Room at Alvarado-Niles Boulevard and Dowe Avenue from noon to 1:30 pm on Thursday, October 24th. This event is free and lunch is provided.
