Shooting, Stabbing In Fremont Monday Night
Two people were hospitalized in the separate incidents. Police arrested one man, and have reached a conclusion on the other case.
FREMONT, CA — Fremont Police responded to a stabbing and a shooting within 90 minutes Monday night. Two people have been hospitalized. One arrest has been announced.
The stabbing happened just after 7 p.m. on Chetwood Avenue. Two men were fighting, and the fight escalated to a stabbing. The suspect was gone when police arrived, but he was identified as Adarian Sheehy, 24.
The victim was taken to a trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Sheehy was arrested.
Shortly before 8:30 p.m., police were notified that a man had been shot on Magellan Drive. The victim was transported to a trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 17-year-old juvenile was identified as being involved, but the victim and the juvenile both claimed the incident was accidental.
The juvenile was released to a parent.
