Showy Summer Flowers: Photos Of The Day
Queen of the Night, Angel's Trumpet and Roses all starred in Harsha Sastry's Fremont garden this year.
FREMONT, CA — Harsha Sastry provided flower photos from here in Fremont. Harsha tells Patch, "White is queen of the night or Epiphyllum oxypetalum. Yellow is Angel's trumpet or brugmansia. The fragrance is other worldly..especially at night. And the roses are red and pink." Harsha also tells us that the flowers love the heat.
Thank you for sharing them with readers. Here's another look at the Angel's trumpet. We may need to plant those for the scent.

If you have an awesome photo of nature, breath-taking scenery, kids caught being kids, a pet doing something funny or something unusual you happen to catch with your camera, we’d love to feature it on Patch.
