Motorcyclist Killed On I-680 In Sunol
At one point, traffic was diverted off the highway as traffic backed up for miles.

SUNOL, CA — A motorcyclist who crashed on northbound I-680 in Sunol Wednesday morning has died.
The motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, was taken to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley but died from him injuries, CHP officials said.
No information about what led to the crash has been released.

All northbound lanes were blocked for a time, with traffic being diverted off at the CHP scales, then back on.
All lanes reopened at 11 a.m., just an hour after the crash, but by then traffic had backed up for miles.
