Sig-Alert On I-880 In Fremont Canceled

FREMONT, CA — The CHP has canceled a sig-alert for southbound Interstate Highway 880, near Mowry. All lanes were reported cleared at 1:18 p.m.

Efforts to clear away an overturned big rig caused the alert.

The crash only involved the truck, and there were no injuries.

At one point, traffic was backed up past the Dumbarton Bridge.
