Sig-Alert Canceled On I-880

FREMONT, CA — The CHP has canceled a sig-alert for southbound Interstate Highway 880 near the Auto Mall Parkway exit after a crash was cleared. The numbers one and two lanes (left lanes) were blocked for a time by a collision involving a silver or grey car and a motorcycle.

The crash was first reported at 9:13 a.m. but the sig-alert wasn't issued until 9:29. By 10 it was lifted.

At least one person is reportedly injured.

On its log, the CHP reported that "traffic is stopped" prior to the sig-alert.
