Small Child Found In Fremont Park Reunited With Family

Police appealed to the public for help after searching the area without success.

FREMONT, CA — A little girl who was found alone in Crandall Creek Park on Wabash River Place in Fremont has been reunited with family, according to police.

The Fremont Police Department was called just after 3 p.m. They canvassed the area but could not find her family. After about a half hours of searching, police sent an alert to the community asking for help.

The child's mother went to the park after the alert was issued.

Police have not released further details. The child's photo has been removed by Patch now that she has been successfully reunited with her family.
