Sunday BART Service Disruptions

FREMONT, CA — If you're planning to use BART on Sunday, build extra time into your schedule.

BART crews plan to replace traction power cables that provide electricity for trains. The team expects to replace approximately 1,200 linear feet of traction power cable in Union City.

That means if you plan to use BART on Sunday, delays of 15-20 minutes are expected because of single tracking between Union City and Fremont.

The cable replacement project is expected to continue the weekends of Oct. 2-3 and Oct. 16-17.
