Suspect Attempts to Rob CVS Pharmacy of Prescription Drugs

Police are seeking a suspect who allegedly walked into a Fremont pharmacy Friday morning and demanded prescription drugs. Around 4:55 a.m., an officer was dispatched to a report of a robbery at a CVS Pharmacy store inside the Fremont Hub shopping center at 4020 Fremont Hub, according to police.

The officer learned a male suspect had walked into the store, passed a note to a store clerk indicating he had a gun and demanded prescription drugs, police said.

The clerk told the suspect they weren’t able to access the medication the suspect was asking for, according to police. The suspect then fled on foot empty handed, police said. No suspect description was available.
