Suspect Who Had Previously Bitten Worker Arrested

FREMONT, CA - An employee at a store in Fremont had a run-in with a previous robbery suspect Sunday, according to police.

At a CVS Pharmacy in the Brookvale Shopping Center at 35720 Fremont Blvd., an employee contacted officers on Sunday after attempting to stop a 59-year-old man from stealing 10 bottles of liquor, police said. Police said the employee was familiar with the suspect and had been bitten by him in the past.

According to police, the employee followed the suspect until officers arrived and arrested the man at an Arco gas station nearby.

The suspect's name was not immediately available.
