Suspicious Package At Costco Parking Lot Investigated
The bomb squad was called out Sunday night to the store at Pacific Commons.

FREMONT, CA —The Alameda County Sheriff's Office bomb squad has determined a "suspicious" device found in a Costco parking lot was not a bomb or anything else deemed dangerous, Fremont police said Sunday night.
The device was reported shortly before 8 p.m. in the parking lot of the Costco store at 43600 Pacific Commons Blvd. Police thought it was worth calling the bomb squad to check it out; about 10:40 p.m., bomb squad members declared the object not to be a public danger.
