Mother Located: Toddler, Dog Found on Fremont Street
The boy and his dog were found shortly before noon. At 2 p.m., police said that his mother had been located.

FREMONT, CA — The search for the mother of a toddler found in Fremont has ended successfully.
The two-year old boy and his dog were found shortly before noon, at the southeast corner of Beacon Avenue and State Street.
Police quickly released a photo of the pair and appealed to the public for help in finding the child's family.

"The child’s name is believed to be Kiki," the Police Department said in a message to the community. "The child stands 3’5” and weighs 40 lbs. This child is wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, light-brown/khaki pants, and socks with blue, green, and yellow stripes. The child was located alongside a service dog. Both the child and the dog are with Fremont Police at this time."
Police released no further information about the mother or how that child was lost.
