FREMONT, CA — Fremont Police report that northbound Mission Boulevard remains closed from I-680 (north) to Driscoll Road because of an overturned gravel truck. However, southbound traffic is squeezing slowly around the mess.
The gravel buried a Ford sedan when it spilled. Both drivers suffered visible injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The crash happened at 2:15 p.m. Shortly before 4:30 police reported that the closure would last another couple of hours. At 4:55, they announced that southbound traffic was open.
