FREMONT, CA — A Fremont man got a lesson Thursday about not leaving a vehicle unattended as its running.

The man told a 911 dispatcher that he left his truck running as he ran inside his home to get something. When he came out, his truck was gone.

Officer Adam Vucurevich spotted the truck a short time later. He pulled over the vehicle and arrested the driver, 45-year-old Stacy Edson, a transient from Watsonville.
