Stolen Minivan Crashes Into Fremont Home

FREMONT, CA — A stolen minivan crashed into a home in Fremont Monday morning - all the way in. The vehicle went through the garage and into the living room. It happened in the 35,000 block of Barnard Drive near Quarry Lakes.

A woman who lives at the home was in the backyard, just minutes away from going into the garage to leave for work. She was not injured.

The driver of the stolen vehicle was arrested.

The home has been red tagged, forbidding occupancy, until the home can be proven safe.
