Firefighters removed a section of the garage that sustained structural damage and shored it up. "Due to the utilities being knocked out as a result of the vehicle colliding into the garage, the residence was deemed temporarily uninhabitable, resulting in the displacement of a family of four," the department reported in a facebook post. "The Red Cross was contacted to support the family with temporary shelter." The crash happened at 5:27 p.m.
