Holiday giving to benefit SAVE (Safe Alternatives to Violent Environments) clients began with festive fun on November 15th at a Holiday Soiree hosted by Fremont's Whole Foods Market!
Fremont's beautiful new Whole Foods store chose SAVE to benefit from a portion of this amazing event. The store closed early at 7:30 pm and reopened from 8:30-10:30 pm for an evening of food, wine, and beer tastings, raffle drawings, live music and other entertainment, and giveaways such as Whole Foods tote bags and etched wine glasses.
Over 400 guests attended and enjoyed live music by The Canyon Band, and sampled delicious food and drink from a number of vendors, including Martinelli’s, Pitman Farms, Red Branch Cider, and Pucci Seafood. Attendees sipped, savored, and mingled (some even danced in the aisles!), and SAVE hosted an information table to raise awareness about domestic violence and abuse prevention, and the array of no cost services SAVE provides to our community.

SAVE has learned that Whole Foods' donation will exceed $2,100! SAVE is a lifeline from those experiencing domestic violence (also known as intimate partner abuse) and sincerely thanks Whole Foods, and the Fremont location staff members, especially Lisa Marie Wilson, Whole Foods Marketing Supervisor, for so generously supporting SAVE and our community. SAVE also appreciates all those who attended. What a great way for the community to support SAVE and its clients.
