Wild Turkeys In Alameda County: Photo Of The Day

Birds of a feather flock together!

FREMONT, CA — The wild turkeys in our midst seem to be enjoying the grass growing from recent rains.

Glen Mikesell snapped this photo just before sunset on Tuesday. He tells Patch, "An even dozen wild turkeys at Patterson Ranch. I often see turkeys there and in Coyote Hills but they are usually too shy to get a decent photo."

Thanks for sharing your photo, Glen!
