Woman On Life Support Following Fremont Crash

The head-on collision happened Monday evening on Pacific Commons Boulevard.

FREMONT, CA — An elderly woman is hospitalized on life support, Fremont Police reported Tuesday, following a head-on collision Monday evening at Pacific Commons Boulevard and Curie Street. She was a passenger in one of the cars.

Both drivers were also transported to local hospitals complaining of pain injuries. They have since been discharged. All three people are Fremont residents.

The crash happened at 5:30 p.m. Police report that an Acura TL driven by a 19 year old man made a left turn directly into the path of a BMW 328i, with a female driver and the elderly passenger. Alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be a factor in the crash.
