Woman Shot In Fremont, Refuses To Help Police

The woman was shot in the leg at a restaurant parking lot.

FREMONT, CA — A woman was shot in the leg at a Fremont parking lot Tuesday night. She was hospitalized, but is expected to survive. Her name has not been released and no arrests have been announced.

According to Fremont Police, the shooting happened shortly before 11 p.m. outside the Spin-A-Yarn Restaurant on Warm Springs Boulevard. A restaurant employee made the 911 call.

The woman who was shot is refusing to tell officers what happened. Several shell casings were located in the parking lot. Local hospitals were contacted, and no other gunshot victims sought treatment.
