You Look Like Lunch: Photo Of The Day
A squirrel and hawk on the same tree branch. This could have ended poorly for the rodent.
FREMONT, CA — Apparently this squirrel hasn't gotten the word that he's a favorite menu item of hawks. Patch reader Lee Vitale snapped this incredible photo from the patio of their home in Fremont. According to Lee, "The squirrel actually got close enough to sniff the hawk before the hawk took off." Wow!
